What University Location Finder does
Searching for a university often starts with a simple question: where is it? University Location Finder puts that question at the centre of the experience. Our homepage combines a searchable directory, country filters, and an interactive map that zooms to a university campus reference point with one click.
What is included
The directory includes 1,123 university entries in 13 countries: the United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, the United States, India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Germany, France, Russia, Australia, the Netherlands and Japan. Version 4.3 added the most-searched university locations for the US, UK, India and Bangladesh, plus new Netherlands, Japan and Bangladesh directories. It is not a comprehensive list of all accredited universities. We plan for the directory to expand as locations are reviewed.
How the map works
The map uses Leaflet and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. The initial 89 examples use approximate campus-area reference points; newly added entries use city centres and are explicitly labelled as city-only references, not verified campuses. We do not claim that a pin identifies the correct admissions office, department, accessible entrance or classroom.
Independence and accuracy
University Location Finder is an independent informational resource. We are not endorsed by, partnered with or affiliated with the universities listed here. University names are used to identify locations; trademarks remain with their respective owners. Before making important travel, admission or accommodation decisions, confirm details with the institution’s official website.
Why this is not a ranking
A place on our map does not indicate academic quality, eligibility, accreditation, admissions prospects or a recommendation. The current directory is organised around location discovery rather than rankings. Public university and government directories are referenced on our Sources and Methodology page.
